This talented young lady has a style of her own. Skyla not only can sing and act, she is an incredible songwriter, dancer, and has a phenomenal stage presence. When she is not on the stage singing she is on stage teaching line-dance at the World Famous Wildhorse Saloon. She has the ability to draw the crowd in with her combination of song and dance. She could very well be the next big discovery in country music.
Skyla has made her mark overseas as well as in the United States. Her first album “You Said You’d Call Me” was released in 2005. This album consisted of 11 self-penned songs. With past releases to radio she has climbed her way to the number one spot on various charts: Indie World Country chart, Indie Tracker, and Inside Country chart. She has also reached the top 20 on the European Country Music Charts, and has charted on New Music Weekly, and on the Indie Power Source Chart. Skyla's song "You Said You'd Call Me", was released on CDX - Vol. 382 in 2005 and received wave reviews with its catchy lyrics, and up-beat swinging music. Skyla's "One More Chance" was released in 2006 nationwide and was released on Hot Disc in July overseas. “One More Chance” reached to number 40 on Billboard in Europe. Skyla’s new song “This Girl” was release summer of 2009 and reached #1 on Indie World Country Chart and broke into the tope 50 on New Music Weekly chart. This Girl was released on CDX Vol. 474 to radio stations in the US. "This Girl" hits radio overseas in October.
