Country Artist, Skyla Spencer is making waves at radio with her new single, “This Girl” that was released over the summer nationwide. Her single reached #1 on Indie World Country chart in Sept. and broke into the top 50 on New Music Weekly.
Skyla is not only a singer/songwriter, but she is also known as an accomplished dancer/choreographer in Nashville. She divides her time between singing and teaching line-dance at the World Famous Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville. Skyla says, “I love performing and combining dance into my shows”. Skyla most recently shot a line-dance video on Sept. 25th at Dance In Bloom & at the Wildhorse. Skyla choreographed a 2-wall line dance to her new single, “This Girl”. Skyla had 80 dancers dancing in the video at Wildhorse.
The video will be released late- October. “This Girl”, is a song that Skyla co-wrote with Heather Andrews. The song is dedicated to girls of all ages pursuing dreams. The message is never to give up on your dreams and never give up on love.
Skyla says, “I hope this song reaches millions and has a true impact on someone’s life. My vision has always been to sing, choreograph and dance. Dance and music are good therapy if you are going through something difficult. You always feel better after you dance.” I am truly in my element when I am doing both: Singing & Dancing. "

Skyla scores her first movie-as an extra- Line-Dancer
Skyla recently danced as an extra in the movie Bailey. "It was my first movie and it was a thrill to be a part of. The movie stars Michael Clark Duncan. More details coming within the next few months.
